Solar Energy Consultation and Design in Montgomery County Pennsylvania

Think of standing on your roof on a crisp Montgomery County Pennsylvania early morning, sunshine cascading through the clouds, and wondering how to harness that golden energy effectively. One of the trickiest elements of solar setup is designing a system that works completely with your distinct property. Misjudging roofing system angles, shading from trees, or perhaps regional weather condition patterns can turn what should be a clean energy win into wasted potential.

Lumina Solar PA understands how the specific landscape and climate of Montgomery County Pennsylvania influence solar efficiency. This is not simply about slapping panels on a roofing; it's about crafting a bespoke option that consider:

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Shams: Peter Hayes has been excellent since the beginning until installation. He always kept me updated with regards to the process . Our installation went well and our panels are doing great . I will highly recommend him and Lumina Solar .
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Justin Occhiogrosso: Smooth process overall from Lumina. (PECO drug their feet every step of the way, but that's another story.) Worked with a salesman named Jack. He was always professional. The install only took a few hours and was great.

  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Jason Cimino: Lumina Solar installed our system a little over a year ago and it has been operating flawlessly. I cannot speak more highly of experience we had and the service we received. We have known the co-founder of Lumina for a very long time and couldn’t be more impressed with the company they are building. If you are interested in solar Lumina is a must!! We worked with my brother Andrew Cimino who is a consultant and project manager for them and received the highest level of customer service, personally I do not like to mix business with family but he is amazing. Ask to work with Andrew!
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Duane Hosler: We had a wonderful experience with Lumina. Lumina’s representative Jevon Ciciliot was informative, honest and accessible through the whole process. The administration team kept us updated on what and when the next step would be. The install crew was friendly and respectful of our property. We were very pleased with the look of the final product, as they took extra steps for a clean install. Post install, Lumina kept us informed until the final procedures were completed and we were up and running.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by King of Kings ministries Poconos Mt PA: These guys were awesome Everyone was amazing and they showed me everything. My agent was Phillip he was amazing an he called explained everything to me, if you ever need solar this is the right one give them a call now don’t wait.
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by Steve Raffensberger: Technically excellent! Workmanship and courtesy of installers was great. Logistically, less so...maybe due to my remoteness from Lumina resources. No one arrived on schedule. Coordination with local inspectors was poor.
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Montgomery County Pennsylvania by John D: I'm probably one of the pickier customers a contractor can have and I look for excellence in service and product every step of the way. Even though the pre-planning for the job was executed well and was organized issues arose during the completion of the work. This is when I look for exceptional response because problems occur with anything we do it's how the problems are addressed that makes all the difference to me. Lumina Solar has a staff who are dedicated to ensuring the job is installed correctly and professionally. Even though there were bumps in the road the tradesman did not stop until every little detail was handled. Many companies would just say "Good enough will do" but not Lumina they persisted until the job was completed exactly to the specification quoted. Kudos to Lumina for being a customer centric company!
  • Sun course variations throughout the year
